Mason has more than 20 years' professional legal experience advising on a wide range of legal matters.
Prior to establishing Lockhart Legal in 2009, he was a senior legal counsel for Heineken International in Amsterdam for 6 years, sitting on the management team for the Africa Middle East Region. Prior to this, he was general counsel for DB Breweries Limited.
In both roles he advised on all aspects of the production, marketing, sales and distribution of a variety of consumer goods, as well as on a wide range of business mergers and acquisitions. He also has a strong practical grounding in advising on all aspects of private clients' personal affairs, including asset protection, estate planning, residential conveyancing and property transactions, wills and estates.
Mason is a family man with two young daughters who he adores. His wife, Inga Frengley, is a barrister specialising in refugee and human rights law. In his spare time he participates in harbour swims, enjoys cycling and is a great spectator sportsman.
